Productomschrijving

More for Some, Less for Others is a children's investigation into wealth inequality and its impacts on adolescent relationships. The story follows three friends -- Lina, Anabelle, and Andrew -- navigating a difficult situation where the subject of money becomes a barrier for some, but not others. Lina must learn to grapple with the hardship of communicating her financial situation to Anabelle and their friends, who are planning a surprise birthday celebration for Andrew that carries a hefty cost. Lina must find a way to make her voice heard so that the situation does not snowball, and finds that, perhaps, something that once brought her shame could also be a source of connection. The book also includes several more advanced vocabulary terms, which are accordingly defined throughout the book. This is an excellent way for your child to get used to reading and interpreting new words that they may see in their everyday life. Meer lezen Snelle levering vanuit Nederland.
